چکیده
سقوط صدام در سال 2003، دولت و نظام سیاسی عراق را بهطورکلی متحول ساخت و آن کشور را در بحران چندسالهای فروبرد، بهگونهای که باعث قدرت گیری شیعیان برای اولین بار در تاریخ عراق و افزایش قدرت حکومت اقلیم کردستان گردید. کردستان تنها منطقهای از عراق است که تا قبل از حمله داعش (2014) به برخی از مناطق آن، توانسته است بدون تأثیرپذیری از محیط ناامن، در راستای اهداف و برنامههای خود بکوشد و بهعنوان یک بازیگر ذرهای، خود را در داخل منطقه و جهان مطرح نماید. این پژوهش با بهرهگیری از رویکرد توصیفی- تحلیلی و استفاده از منابع اینترنتی و کتابخانهای درصدد پاسخگویی به این سؤال است که: تحولات عراق چه تأثیری بر فرآیند استقلالخواهی کردها داشته است؟ یافتهها حاکی از آن است که طی چند سال گذشته تحولات ویژهای در عراق رویداده است که ازجمله آنها میتوان به سقوط صدام در سال 2004، تدوین قانون اساسی عراق در سال 2005 و ظهور و قدرتنمایی داعش در سال 2014 اشاره نمود. این موارد علت اصلی استقلالخواهی کردها نیستند، اما موجب تسریع در فرآیند استقلالخواهی کردها شدهاند و نقش متغیر تسهیلکننده را دارا میباشند. در این راستا، پیشبینی میشود در صورت سمتگیری تحولات به این صورت، استقلال کردستان عراق صورت خواهد گرفت.
