چکیده
لابی ارامنه یکی از لابی های قومی قدرتمند در ایالات متحده آمریکا است. تلاش اصلی سازمان‌های مختلف لابی ارامنه در ایالات متحده تاثیر گذاری بر سیاست خارجی ایالات متحده در جهت اهداف و مسائل مربوط به خودشان است. کمیته ملی ارامنه و مجمع ارامنه آمریکا دو سازمان اصلی لابی ارامنه هستند که سه هدف اصلی لابی ارامنه یعنی، شناسایی قتل عام ارامنه توسط امپراتوری عثمانی در سال های 1922-1915، شناسایی استقلال و خومختاری منطقه ناگورنو- قره باغ و دریافت کمک های مالی از ایالات متحده را دنبال می کنند. سیاست خارجی در ایالات متحده متاثر از عوامل و عناصر مختلفی است، لابی ها یکی این عناصر هستند که در چارچوب کلی گروه قرار می گیرند. بنابراین توضیح جایگاه گروه در سیاست خارجی ایالات متحده ضرورت می‌یابد؛ که تحقیق حاضر این مبحث را با نظریه گروه در ایالات متحده ارائه شده توسط آرتور بنتلی توضیح می‌دهد.
