چکیده

تحولات قرن بیست یکم منجر به دگردیسی‌هایی در محیط‌زیست جهان گشت به‌گونه‌ای که پدیده‌های مربوط به تحولات و رخدادهای محیط زیستی از یک موضوع داخلی به پدیده‌ای جهانی مبدل گشت. ازاین‌رو در دهه‌های اخیر توجه به مسئله محیط‌زیست و به‌کارگیری سیاست‌های نوین در مسیر حل مسائل زیست‌محیطی به‌مانند به‌کارگیری سیاست انرژی‌های پاک در فرایند توسعه پایدار به یکی از جنبه های مهم در سیاستگذاری کشورها تبدیل‌شده‌است. دولتمردان چین و آمریکا به منظور دستیابی به اهداف توسعه پایدار، گام‌های موثری برای افزایش بهره‌گیری از سیاست زیست‌محیطی برداشته‌اند. پرسش اصلی پژوهش حاضر این است که به‌کارگیری و بهره‌مندی از انرژی پاک چه جایگاهی در سیاست‌گذاری چین و آمریکا در جهت دست‌یابی به توسعه پایدار ایفا می‌کند؟ در پاسخ این فرضیه با روش تطبیقی-تاریخی بررسی می‌شود که چین و آمریکا با بهره‌گیری سیاست‌های متنوع درزمینه تجدید انرژی‌های پاک توانسته‌اند تا حدودی به اهداف مبتنی بر توسعه پایدار جامعه عمل بپوشانند. باآنکه چین دیرتر وارد میدان انرژی‌های پاک‌شده است؛ اما از طریق به‌کارگیری سیاست‌های نوین، اولویت‌گذاری به انرژی‌های پاک در سیاست‌گذاری انرژی و... توانسته با هم‌پوشانی میان امنیت انرژی و حفاظت از محیط‌زیست بخشی از سیاست توسعه پایدار خود را عملی سازد.
