چکیده

نوع برخورد غرب و بالاخص آمریکا با ایران در مسألۀ هسته ای، دارای شباهت‌هایی با نوع برخورد انگلستان با این کشور در جریان ملّی‌شدن نفت می باشد. این پژوهش در  پی آن است تا این دو واقعه را با یک‌دیگر مقایسه کند و با بررسی شرایط جهانی و جای گیری بازیگران اصلی در هریک از دو رویداد، تأثیرپذیری و تأثیرگذاری این وقایع را بر سیستم جهانی تحلیل کرده و به این سؤال پاسخ دهد که کدام فاکتورهای واقعۀ اول، روند رسیدن به توافق در مسألۀ هسته ای را نیز تحت تأثیر قرار داد. در این پژوهش، با روش تطبیقی و مقایسه‌ای و بر‌مبنای نظریۀ نظام جهانی والرشتاین و مفهوم افول هژمونی، شرایط مربوط به موضوع هسته ای را بر پایۀ نتایج حاصل از ملّی‌شدن نفت، تحلیل و بررسی کرده و نکات اشتراک را تشریح کرده ایم و به این نتیجه رسیده ایم که این دو واقعه از جهاتی؛ مانند شرایط جهانی، جای گیری بازیگران در سیستم، نوع برخورد هژمون با مسأله و نوع تأثیرگذاری بر سیستم مشابهت داشته و از جهت نوع برخورد و نگاه طرفین درگیر در وقایع نیز دارای اشتراکاتی هستند که روند حلّ مسأله را تحت تأثیر قرار داده است.
