Abstract

Armenian lobby is one of most powerful ethnic lobbies in U.S. all branches of this lobby try to direct US foreign policy on their interests. Armenian National committee and Armenian Assembly are two famous organization of Armenian lobby. They try to achieve three obvious goals of Armenian lobby which are Recognition of Armenian Genocide by Ottoman Empire between 1915-1922, recognition of Independence or Autonomy of Nagorno Karabakh and obtaining financial assistance from U.S.
Different elements form U.S Foreign policy and lobbies are one of these elements. Lobby under theory of group can be defined so this article must explain the role of groups in U.S policy. This article use Arthur Bentley theory as theoretical framework.
