Journal History

The Iranian Research Letter of International Politics is published by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in collaboration with the Iranian International Studies Association. The journal is published semiannually, and its publication license was issued based on letter No. 28030/90 from the Deputy of Press and Information Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on 03/11/1390 (January 23, 2012). According to letter number 18/3/55085 dated 22/04/1392 (July 13, 2013) and in accordance with directive No. 55085/3/18 dated 09/02/1398 (April 29, 2019), approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, the journal is recognized as a scientific journal.

Open Access Policy

The Iranian Research Letter of International Politics is an open-access journal, meaning that all content is freely available to users and their institutions. Users are permitted to download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles in this journal without prior permission from the publisher or author.

Journal Website Archiving

The electronic content of the journal is archived and stored in two ways:

2. PDF versions of all articles are made available online on the journal's website for readers. Simultaneously, a backup copy of this content is maintained on another server. In the event of a problem with the journal's website and loss of content, each article will be restored from the backup server within 24 to 36 hours and republished online on the website.
3. All published issues of the journal are also archived in another repository. In case of disruption or failure of the journal's website, articles will be made available to users through this alternative repository.

Publication Ethics Policies

The Iranian Research Letter of International Politics is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to the executive law on prevention and dealing with fraud in scientific works. Journal's membership link 

All members of the editorial board, reviewers, and authors are requested to read the journal's statement of publication ethics principles. In cases of encountering issues such as plagiarism, citation manipulation, or data fabrication in submitted or published articles, please inform the journal's editor-in-chief, Dr. Manshadi, via email at irlip@um.ac.ir or the publisher at fumpress@um.ac.ir. Such cases will be investigated and addressed according to COPE flowcharts.

Article Peer-Review Policy 

In this journal, reviewers are not selected from the editorial board members, except in special circumstances where no external expert in the article's subject area is available. 

- All submitted articles undergo a peer-review process. 

- The peer-review process in this journal follows a double-blind method.
