Abstract
روابط بینالملل آکنده از افسانه و واقعیت است. در مورد روابط هند و آمریکا و جایگاه ایران در روابط این دو کشور هم در چند سال اخیر افسانههای فراوانی ساخته شده است. برخی افسانهها هند را نیازمند برقراری رابطه با آمریکا میدانند و بر این اساس، تصمیمات سیاست خارجی هند تابع آمریکا تلقی میشود. در مقابل، برخی افسانهها با توجه به اوضاع اقتصادی آمریکا و آغاز بحران اقتصادی در غرب، این کشور را در تلاش برای یافتن بازارهای جدید و تقویت همکاری با قدرتهای در حال ظهوری همچون هند دانستهاند و برای نمونه به سفر اوباما به هندوستان در سال 2010 اشاره میکنند. در هر یک از این، افسانهها جایگاهی متفاوت برای ایران در روابط هند و آمریکا ترسیم شده است. آن دسته از افسانهها که هند را تابع آمریکا میدانند، معتقدند سیاست هند در قبال ایران تابعی از روابط ایران و آمریکا است. اما دسته دیگری از افسانهها معتقد به سیاست خارجی مستقل برای هند در قبال ایران است. در این مقاله تلاش شده است تا ضمن بررسی دیدگاههای مختلف در مورد روابط هند و آمریکا و جایگاه ایران در این رابطه، موقعیت واقعی ایران در مناسبات هند و آمریکا تبیین شود. در حقیقت با توجه به منافع ملّی هندوستان و رویکرد منفعت – محور نخبگان این کشور و نیز با توجه به مزیتهای اقتصادی، امنیتی و استراتژیک ایران، جایگاه این کشور در در سیاست خارجی هند تثبیت شده است.
