چکیده
پس از سال 2006 و به روی کار آمدن دولت محافظهکار هارپر، سیاست خارجی کانادا تغییر جهت داده و کمتر به‌عنوان حافظ صلح در عرصۀ بینالمللی حاضر شده است. همچنین تمایل به ارتباط با آسیا و دفاع از اسرائیل نیز از اولویت‌های سیاست خارجی کانادا در این دوره بوده است. این مقاله، در پی پاسخ به عوامل تأثیرگذار بر سیاست خارجی کانادا در بازه زمانی 2006 تا 2015 میباشد. در این راستا، در چهارچوب مدل پیوستگی روزنا، منابع و عوامل مؤثر در تغییر جهتگیری سیاست خارجی دولت هارپر مورد بررسی و تجزیه‌وتحلیل قرار میگیرند. این مقاله با بررسی منابع پنج‌گانۀ پیش نظریۀ روزنا به این نتیجه میرسد که عامل "فرد" مهم‌ترین تأثیر را نسبت به سایر عوامل (نقش، حکومت، جامعه و محیط بین الملل) در اتخاذ سیاست خارجی کشور کانادا ایفا کرده است.
