Russian-Iranian Relations was in the shadow of the Iranian Nuclear Challenge in the Ahmadinejad Era. Investigating in the bilatral relations of Iran and Russia indicates that these relationships have been mainly influenced by Russian interests and desires and not the common interests of the two countries. By adopting a pragmatic approach based on a strategic opportunism in the framework its macro approach to world politics, Russia has pursued 3 major agenda in bilateral relations with Iran:Obtain the identity as a power world, achieve to economic benefits and interests and increasing effectiveness of geopolitical and Strategic Influence. By reflecting these three agendas can be clearly revealed Russia’s relationship with Iran in the different subject fields over the age of ahmadinejad’s presidency.
